This is a sure way of ensuring that the learning needs of all students are equally met. The goal of implementing this class management plan is to therefore, ensure that students have a balanced performance in their learning, including good performance in written work as well as tests. This is a problem facing the learning process presently due to the adoption of the whole language program, which this classroom management plan seeks to solve. The drop in students’ scores in tests has worried most parents, who have launched their complaints to the institution. To address this effectively, the parents need to be convinced that this will change, and that they will no longer use their money on extra tutorship. A conference between teachers, parents and students will be necessary to discuss the factors that resulted in the situation, as well as the steps in place to be undertaken to change this situation. Teachers have a role to play in handling parents’ complaints. First, they should receive the complaints positively. After all, they influenced the predicament in one way or another. With this decision, the Supreme Court overturned its previous rulings in the precedents by transferring the full burden of proof to the worker. In other words, the employee should prove that he was dismissed primarily and solely because of his age (the protection of the law applies to employees above 40 years old).In this case, the Court has made it more difficult for employees to pursue age discrimination cases successfully. Employers possess all the records and information on the employee’s history, with the capability of concealing them entirely, since employers would not need to lift a finger to prove their case. The employee, on the other hand, would rarely be in possession of the documentary data needed to prove an allegation of discrimination. After all, discrimination exists in the mind of the decision-maker, and with only testamentary accounts to back up his claim, the employee is put at a distinct disadvantage to the employer.Furthermore, the employer possesses much greater resources than the worker, and risks very little in accommodating the employee back into his payroll should he lose the case, while the worker’s entire livelihood and subsistence is at stake. The tenets of social justice thus imposes upon the court to even the odds by imposing the burden of evidence on the employer when the minimum requirement is proven by the worker. The economic recession is increasingly taking a toll on the nation’s workforce as more and more business find it necessary to resort to layoffs in an effort to downsize. It has been observed, however, that employers have resorted to a “last one in, first one out” policy when it comes to selecting those workers who have to go. Instead of letting the older employees – who receive higher salaries because of their seniority in the company – go, companies elect instead to separate those who are in

The flow information, or data, can be seen as the flow water to a home. From that point the amount of water coming into a home can be increased by purchasing a larger inlet pipe from the provider. This is the same concept with Internet service providers. Once the water reaches a home it can be distributed and used around the home as much as needed up to the max flow that the pipes allow. This same concept is the same with the Internet. Information flow comes in to the home and distributed to devices until the “pipe” is full. Internet service providers now want to not only charge for the pipe coming into the home but also split up the types information within the flow into tiered charges as well. This is where the idea of net neutrality comes into play.

Concepts And Subconcepts of The Theory Leininger’s theory focuses in explaining, describing and thus predicting the similarities and differences of nursing practice in relation to the conceptualization of the patient’s culture. Therefore it can be said that the main focus of the Theory of Culture Care Diversity and Universality is the care of patients and culture (McFarland and Eipperle, 2008, p. 48). Moreover, the theory demonstrates the methods of nursing approach which aims at taking care of patients with an understanding of their culture. The application of this theory in nursing is through the Trans-cultural Nursing Model where patient care by nurses is designed in a way that it is congruent to the beliefs, practices and values of the patients (Leininger and McFarland, 2006, p. 57). Leininger’s theory illustrates that since culture shapes every individual, it becomes very important for a nurse especially during medical care. The study includes both software and system enhancement so that manpower time can be saved for the Human Resources, Accounting Department and the employees and workers that queue the Cashier/Disbursing Section (under the Accounting Department) to get their salaries. We are encouraging the management to act upon the recommendations submitted by HREG since implementation of the changes would bolster the morale and production of the employees and workers in the company. Modification in the system would save time both for the management and employees.Phoenix Textile Co. But production has never dropped to the point of making a number of employees go on forced vacation due to low demand. Thus, the company remains competitive in the local and global market. With the continuous work in PTC, attendance and absences recording and tracking pose a problem to the management. Paying the salaries of employees entail time for both the Disbursing Section and the employees. The long queue just to receive one’s salary produces annoyance since at times, the employees themselves become disorderly.

Influence includes the swaying ability especially of the leaders. The effect of a leader accompanies the leader’s ability to possess impacts on characters, progress or act of population or things and the impacts themselves. The success relates to the influence closely to determine the presidential authority. The differences between success and influence are critical for determination since the two aspects depends on each other. Among the populations in America and numerous parts of the world, influence normally comes after success. The president can only be considered successful after a series of accomplishments. This leaves the success as an evident factor based on the physical attainments of development. Success bears effects of creating the popularity in a leader and the rest of the congressional members would wish to associate with successful president. The preference of association with success is a common feature amongst the human. The character on the quest for success is borne amidst the human conscience with a notion that success is the only means of gaining authority. Conservatives also argue that deep reductions are needed to harness the full benefits of the on-going programs aimed at realizing federal budget cuts. The shrinking government expenditure is spreading, influencing negatively the key sectors of the economy because of closures, job cuts and multibillion-dollar decrease in government services that supply a wide range of the economy (Dwivedi, 2010). The level of budget cuts would definitely have an impact on the economy since it exceeds what is likely to attribute to ineffectiveness, and it reduces some major programs that the state requires to remain competitive such as healthcare, transportation and education. The most significant effect the current budget cuts is in the education sector where assistance to school districts has been reduced to approximately $9.8 billion. This will directly led to a total loss of 100,000 jobs in school upon implementation.

African American women are tempted by cars, houses and money if they take care about white and rich children, but in reality they have to look 24/7 after the children and have no days off. People, hiring domestic workers for dirty work in America very often beat their housemaids and nannies. How does it happen in the modern America? The scheme of exploitation is rather simple: employers confiscate passport and other documents of the coming women and sign a contract, where low paid working hours and hard work are described (Zarembka, p. 4). There are no even appropriate words to describe cruelty, sexual and physical assault practiced by employers against their hired housekeepers or nannies. Therefore, women from ethnic minorities or immigrants are often treated as “simple creatures” or even “slaves”. Domestic workers are hired by individual boss and it is hard for legal institutions to protect the rights of those “creatures”, hidden in private houses. These people from developing countries are looking for a better chance for life and they go to America “to make their dream come true”. In reality, as we can see in the film “Maid in America”, these women live their children in their developing countries and come to America for cleaning and bringing up children of other women. The knowledge about racial discrimination presents itself as definite, final, and past human motivations and interests. As such, critical theory seek to destabilize such knowledge.Black criticism acknowledges that racialism is engrained within the system and fabric of American society. An individual racist does not need to so as to note institutional racism is universal in the leading culture. The theory recognizes that white supremacy and white privilege dominates the power structures, which propagates the marginalization of Blacks. Black criticism also discards the traditions of meritocracy and liberalism. Legal discourse reveals that the existing law is impartial and colorblind, nonetheless, the theory challenges this lawful “act” by scrutinizing meritocracy and liberalism as a means of self-interest, privilege and power.  Black criticism recognizes that meritocracy and liberalism are habitually stories told by those with power, wealth, and privilege. Such stories creates a wrong picture of meritocracy- every person who works hard enough can attain power, wealth, and privilege but disregarding the systemic inequalities which institutional racism offer. Intersectionality (examination of sexual orientation, race, class, gender, national origin, and how they interplay in various settings) in Black criticism leads to a multiple oppressions and identifies that race, in itself, cannot suggest disempowerment (Camara, 2011, pg. 63). This is a significant tenet in emphasizing that Black criticism is crucial for most oppressions facing folks of color. The theory does not commit to racism as one–dimensional approach to oppression due to the complexities of the world. An interpretation of white writing especially in racist nations illumines the level of Blacks` oppression –

More specifically, ‘You remember the children you got that you did not get (Brooks)’ becomes a statement of emphasis that justifies a ground for guilt to lurk. Directness might have made ‘The Mother’ less figurative at such beginning yet it appears necessary to establish a moment of introspection to follow recollections. This way, acute emotions are drawn especially with ‘The damp small pulps with a little or with no hair (Brooks)’ that is imaginatively a key to sharp remembrance. Then Brooks attempts at the horrible memories to operate on carrying a burden of regret toward a number of wonderful possibilities which could have taken place if one had not thrown the chance of keeping the unborn and completing her motherhood. That is why ‘You will never’ as attached to every lovely chance is enticingly spoken of in an imperative manner or that which suggests an inevitable outcome between a command and a curse. Regret becomes profound on enumerating what-if instances of ‘the singers and workers that never handled the air’, ‘buy with a sweet’, ‘sucking-thumb’, and ‘luscious sigh’. Today my tutorial named StudyBase is doing well among the undergraduate and post graduate students who are provided with high class study materials and coaching classes for learning and clearing all their doubts. Records reflect that our students have been constantly doing well and improving in their academic performances under the guidance of StudyBase.Tutorial businesses are known to be less expensive businesses particularly since they can be conducted from home, and are a means of earning huge amounts of money (Isidro, 2006). I had planned to start this venture since I was always highly fascinated by study related issues. I always considered teaching as a highly noble profession. Since business was the main purpose of my planning, nothing could be more worth for me than choosing a field that I was most interested in. I had initiated my tutorial after having a close discussion with my near ones and those who are experts in the field of teaching. I convinced some of my known and popular teachers to be professionals at my tutorial. I was lucky enough that they agreed readily.Starting a business and becoming successful in it is never an easy path and requires huge effort, patience and perseverance. The next steps needed to be taken in the implementation of the business was to arrange for the required funds, which I got assistance from bank loans, and finding a proper location to open up the tutorial institute. All these measures had taken some time before me, with a team of around 6 major tutors and staffs planned for advertising and attracting students towards our institute. Initially we had conducted free seminars and tuition classes experience to let students and their parents understand the style of our services and the facilities that we would provide. For example, my sisters and I have both been raised in an individualistic culture and so we have both grown up to be for most of the part idiocentric. We are both ambitious, driven and analyze the outcome of situations based on how it would have an impact on us and work favorably as far as we are concerned. I don’t believe simply because she is a woman she would be more prone to be allocentric than I.

These are all learned when the child is small and impressionable, usually before he turns four, through socialization. However, most cultures have adapted the notion that the men are always the more powerful and aggressive ones compared to the image of the women that they are nurturing and compassionate. Other stereotypes about being masculine and feminine are reflected through toys given to them by adults: toy trucks for boys and Barbie dolls for girls. Some even go the extra mile by sexually defining colors: blue for boys and pink for girls. However, there are also gender neutral toys out there to prevent stereotyping to occur, and thus promote gender equality, like bikes. In this essay, we would review the five sociological perspectives on play using toys in terms of gender, gender identity development and gender role stereotyping. The toys are Toy Truck (for boys), Barbie Doll (for girls) and bike (both sexes). Toy Truck The toy truck is commonly identified with the males. It is symbolic of the aggressiveness and the man’s ability to think “logically” (as opposed to the women’s “emotional” thinking), especially when it comes to “playing mechanic”.

To be specific, Britney Spears’ facebook page does not surpass her image as a popular culture icon. Instead, her facebook page is carefully crafted to communicate with her fans/audience. Thesis statement: The analysis and argument on the statement(s) made by Britney Spears about herself to her audience and her carefully constructed facebook page proves that both the statement(s) and facebook page reinforces her public image as a popular culture icon. Most of the public figures who communicate with the audience make use of the theory put forth by Aristotle in his work ‘On Rhetoric’. To be specific, the theory of rhetoric consists of the essential qualities that a public figure should have to gain social acceptance. For instance, ethos consists of the trustworthiness of an individual (say, the speaker), pathos consists of the ability of and individual to create emotional attachment with the listeners and logos consists of the ability of the speaker (say, logical arguments) to communicate with listeners. Within this context, Britney Spears’ statements about herself to the audience is interconnected with logos, she is ready to lose her individuality to satisfy her fans. The U.S. is still struggling to recover from this crisis to date. Despite the crash, Arizona is reported to have had one of the best recoveries from the crash throughout the U.S. This paper analyzes the causes of Arizona’s real estate market crash. It will also describe why Arizona is having one of the best recoveries of the real estate market in the U.S.The crash of Arizona’s real estate market was caused by a number of factors according to a study. Firstly, economists argue that the crash was caused by poor lending practices that the adopted by lenders just before the crash. In this regard, banks are reported to have lent a lot of money to mortgagers without taking into account their ability to repay the loans. As a result, when the economy of the country started declining, many mortgage owners began experiencing difficulties repaying the loans and the mortgage interests resulting in default. Consequently, since there were no enough homebuyers in the market, prices of homes in Arizona dropped to an all time low leading to the crash (Vannutini Par. 3).The crash was also caused by speculative buying rather than sheltering. A research conducted by the National association of Realtors found out that about 23 percent of homebuyers only do so for investment purposes while about 13 percent of those surveyed identified their buying for vacation, which in itself signifies speculation. A research indicated that a majority of homebuyers from Arizona real estate market bought their houses at low interest adjustable rates with the intention of keeping their costs as low as possible then sold them at higher prices for profit. With speculation, buyers kept off the market when prices are high and making purchases when prices are low. The more the speculation continued the more the market prices declined leading to crash of the market (DeGrace Par.5).Low interest rate is also cited as the leading cause of the Arizona real

Their association can be traced back to oral, anal or genital phases. Therefore, if a person has an abnormal sexual attitude, it could be easily traced back to his childhood polymorphously perverse attitude (Hirvonen & Porttikivi, 2010).Even if the normal infantile sexual tendencies of a child are repressed due to inappropriateness, it can also lead to perversions in adulthood. However, the difference between normal perverse qualities and the structure on which these qualities develop is not easy to comprehend. Many aspects should be considered, while making a connection towards perversions. They involve biological, hereditary and psychological needs. They can be a result of oppression of certain act in childhood, which is manifested in the body and grown out as an abnormality of sexuality in adulthood. The hindrance present in the development of sexuality usually stems up from the earlier stage of development and includes sexual-traumas to physical or mental abuse. Due to the fact that infants do not have moral or ethical sense in relation to the sex drives, therefore, their physical needs are evident. When a child touches himself in erotic zones, they repeat the act without bearing in mind the social appropriateness, for them the dominating sense is pleasure. For example, in breast sucking a child is fulfilling two basic needs, which will grant pleasure and satisfaction in both ways (Shaffer, 2009). A basic need of hunger and a pleasure obtained from mouth sucking (oral) or libido both being met at the same time. Mutual

Economic Reforms: During the early 1900’s businesses had acquired a rapid growth rate. This led to a few large corporations establishing monopolies which meant these corporations were able to control entire industries. These corporations sold their merchandise at lower prices forcing small business owners into bankruptcy. In 1902, President Roosevelt instructed his attorney general to file a lawsuit against one such corporation- the Northern Securities. The government won the law suits which lead to the break-up of Northern Securities. In his term President Roosevelt filed additional 45 lawsuits, in an attempt to break up the monopolies. Further, in 1903 the Bureau of Corporations was established. It was tasked to decide which corporations were ‘Good’ and which were ‘Bad’. President Roosevelt also worked to better the lives of workers by improving employee conditions. In 1902, some 140,000 coal mine workers went on strike. They were forced to live and work in inhuman conditions, in addition they were forced to live in company housing and shop at company stores. The workers demanded 20 percent raise in their wages and a reduction from 10 hour shifts to 8 hour shifts. The workers and the companies had reached a stalemate, as neither workers nor companies were willing to make concessions. President Roosevelt was forced to intervene in order to resolve the crisis.

This paper intends to discuss why would an intelligent mind believe or not believe in the existence of God, and what my opinion about the nature and existence of God is.A 90 minute debate was held in Alys Stephens Center in Birmingham, Alabama, on October 03, 2007 between two Oxford University colleagues- an atheist and secular humanist, Professor Richard Dawkins, and a Christian apologist, Professor John Lennox. The topic of the debate was the existence of God based upon the atheistic views that Dawkins presented in his book, The God Delusion. In the debate, Dawkins explains his theses regarding the rejection of God’s existence saying that science is based on evidence-based grounds whereas faith is blind and is based merely on satisfactory beliefs and thus it drags humans to believe what is told in religion without the need of understanding and exploring. This makes us say that an intelligent mind believes that science does not support religion- rather, it supports rationalism or atheism. Marx conception of God’s existence is purely atheistic. He affirms that an intelligent mind must argue that the designer God, if there is one, must need another designer to design him. Freud does not believe in God and asserts that “the sooner one accepts that God does not exist, the better” (qtd. in McFaul 9) if one wants to step into mature adulthood. Christianity poses dangers to the existence of humans as all wars and destructions come as a result of the religious beliefs and difference in faiths. Dawkins explains an argument from his book, that is, faith is blind whereas science is evidence-based (92) in which he argues that faith is by no reasons strengthening its grounds in the 21st century when it has nothing to do with evidence. On the other hand, according to Dawkins, “science uses evidence to discover the truth about the universe” and scientific discoveries are based on research and

In criminal justice, ethics provides for making moral choices in case of uncertainties in various situations or problems. In the process of criminal justice, moral rules are desirable because they provide reliable guides for application in various circumstances. In criminal justice, ethics provides the grounds for reaching fair decisions in terms of law and for the sake of the criminal (Banks, 2004). It is also crucial to understand that ethics in criminal justice involves determining right and wrong in terms of human standards. Also, these two perceptions arise from the influences from parents, society or friends. Codes of conduct are influenced by religious beliefs and the law.Justice in human experience occurs as a process that moves within three concrete circles. The personal context represents the individual sense of justice. This context has the responsibility of examining the right or wrong and evil or good in life experiences. The second circle characterizes the community context for justice. This circle comprises the physical environment in which justice operates: urban, rural or suburban. It also includes the people in this system and their interactions. In the society, criminals do not operate in seclusion. Criminals require victims and circumstances. Crime relates to social conditions and circumstances through its subjectivity to the criminal justice system and the law. The social context of criminal justice ethics understands the necessity for recognizing criminals, not after the crime, but also through the comprehension of the environment and conditions that force people into crime. The social context of criminal justice ethics also involves the self-judgment of individuals in relation to others (Schneider, 2009).The third circle of criminal justice ethics involves the processes of criminal justice.
