citizens, three reasons can be perceived as standing paramount to human rights progress on education in Islamic countries: 1) The internal case of religion or the exercise of a particular aspect or type of Islamism. 2) The external case of orientalism or the policies and practice of the Western world that affect human rights outcomes in Arab regions- 3) The economy or particularly extractive industries, which are predominately male driven, on the region in terms of society and culture.By focusing the primary concern of the study towards the exploration of the availability of educational opportunities in Pakistan and Iran, the research aims to understand the male-dominated elements that thrive in these particular societies and how it has led to the oppression of women who reside in this part of the world. As stated previously, the assessment and analysis which has been conducted in this paper can be examined from three critical elements and theoretical perspectives which are that of 1) Islamism 2) orientalism and 3) economic considerations of the environment. From a scholarly point of view, the case of Islam and the rise of religious extremism in both Pakistan and Iran is an internal matter of the states because it establishes the foundations on which the nations’ constitution, judiciary and legal systems have come into being. In recent years, the rise of extremism in Pakistan which has led to the creation of various Taliban factions that strive to prohibit women from gaining education is demonstrated by the case of 16-year-old education activist, Malala Yousufzai who was shot by the Taliban in 2012 for raising her voice against their injustices which included the destruction of girls’ schools and colleges in Swat District. Indeed, many of the cultural elements and factions that thrive in Pakistan and Iran are based upon the inspirations of religious text but more so it is the interpretation of the text that is responsible for developing the social matters of <strong>Essay - World Health Organization | Subjects: Sociology - College</strong>Essay - Sex on Television | Subjects: Miscellaneous - Ph.D.

COL-PE also broadens designers understanding of the potential impact of their work. Its principles are very relevant for a wider range of disciplines involved in environmental design including urban and interior design. This makes it my point of interest since understanding this relationship is very important to designers because it aims at explicating what is often unrecognized or tacit understanding of the role of environmental color. This calls for more research to be done by researchers to understand the relationship more carefully (Yildirim, 2011).I choose this paper since more research has to be done to understand the color person environmental relationship. This research will also enable us to understand how emotions and moods can be affected by environmental aspects. Therefore, the paper is of great importance to interior and environmental designers. Understanding the color person environmental relationship will help in understanding how color can affect the moods and emotions of an individual. This can be doing quite a number of experiments like examine the effects of three hues on 30 female performance and mood in an office environment. It involves measuring work performance (using work typed, typing errors to word typed), depression, arousal and anxiety (measured by eight state questionnaires). Another reason for choosing this paper is because it has quite a number of experiments which might help in understanding the above relationship in details. The other experiment involved assessing various colors across room interiors. It was clear that warm colors produces stronger participant response (high arousal), cool colors are not very arousing (Hidayetoglu, 2011). Generally, it is assumed that achromatic and cool colors evoke calmer and peaceful emotions. The paper is thus so much informative in understanding the color person environmental relationship. The results are of great importance in the understanding the color person This has also led to the stereotyping of the African American children as people feel that they are not well prepared for the job market. African Americans are also thought to be violent mainly as a result of bullying which could have happened in their lives while they were young. This has been proven not to apply to all African Americans. Using the education system to stereotype the African American children is wrong as it has continued to suppress them through the education system. In the meantime people continue thinking that they are resisting to work hard as they associate working hard with the

The play entails a lot of ironies and off stages performances that requires an acute sense of listening and sight to connect. The Seagull is the pioneer among the Chekhov’s four plays, his work are praised for the projection of melodrama intertwined with conventional dramatic topics and techniques that transcends Chekhov’s styles. The Seagull introduces the technique of “indirect action” a situation in which violent or intensive events in the play are not presented on the stage. Such events occur in the intervals of play as viewed by the audience and involve the inaugurated major changes in both the writing and execution of the play on the stage which is a persistent evolution in the present day play writing (Jae, 2012).Chekhov’s main plays capture little of traditional plot with primary activities of quotidian performed by characters with conversations of illusions of the unseen events which are intermingled with issues of daily affairs and discussions from random observations. Chekhov’s plays are characterized by momentous events which are depicted from the characters’ actions and scripts seen in their effects to each other. These plays often seem to focus more on the characters’ reactions to events than on the main events themselves. His plays are able to analysis and convey the effects of crucial events in the character’s lives more precisely than in other plays. These characteristics and techniques are clearly portrayed in the play The Seagull where highly charged events of drama are traditionally displayed though is not portrayed on the stage. We only see the effects of usual life in the lives of characters and no crises are clearly shown in the usual sense. This is only presented by the precipitating events and the effects of their consequences in

Research Paper - Stem Cell Research Legislation | Subjects: Business - Undergraduate According to the research paper "Pornography" findings, it is important to understand that various groups in the community have considered pornography as an example of a substance that promotes sexual immorality. On this basis, there have been attempts to censor the production of pornographic materials, as well as providing legal restraints against their production, as well as publication. However, Johansson and Nils (60) explains that due to the different definitions of pornography, based on the national, historical, as well as cultural contexts, this aspect of pornography has thrived. Furthermore, in the 20th century, there was the development of social attitudes that are more tolerant to presentation and discussions of sex and its related factors. This increased the development of pornography, mainly because many countries started relaxing laws regarding the production and publication of pornographic materials. Furthermore, Johansson and Nils (61) explains that the development of the internet and the home video made it possible for a boom in the global pornographic industry, and this helps in generating billions of dollars in a year.McKee (36) denotes that in the mentioned movie, the female character has been used as a depiction of pornography. In this movie, Bettie, a female character is used to pose for nude pictures, and photographs, for pornographic magazines, and studios. McKee (38) explains that in most pornographic materials, women are always depicted as sex symbols and objects. This results in the destruction of the virtues of the women under consideration. This is clearly depicted in the movie, whereby Bettie Page is unable to find friends, because of a bad name. Essay - GM foods-where do we cross the line? These are further discussed below in the essay.Cellphones have enhanced communication between people, as people find it easier to use the devices to relay information to each other. Initially, cellphones were bigger in size, which made it difficult for people to carry around. During this time, people relied on non-portable telecommunication devices such as fax machines and landline phones among others to disseminate information. These devices physically limited people’s ability to relay messages in real-time. With companies competing to make gadgets that are more portable, cellphones are now smaller and lighter. In addition, innovative tech gurus are increasing the number of applications that are compatible with cellphones, which expose people to a new platform- social media. Through social media applications such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and many others more people are able to share their ideologies, preferences and activities. Many liberation movements credit their success to technology, which enabled them to spread their ideologies to people in different geographical locations. In countries ruled by oppressive regimes, text messaging (SMS) came in handy when sanctions forced Internet providers to disable the service with the aim of stopping the spread of propaganda internally and externally- for example, in the 2011 Egyptian Revolution. These factors are compelling more people to invest in cellphones, a decision that has functioned to increase the level of social interaction. As people get more pressed for time due to their increasingly busy lifestyles, many gravitate towards choosing alternatives that promise convenience. Society can be defined as a large group of individuals who share the same cultural values, norms and meanings, on which the members’ behaviours and actions are based upon.1 Social organizations and interactions describe the movement of these individuals. As the society faces sudden and rapid changes in its social, economic and political structure, it is important to understand how the past and the process of development from the past to the present influence the changes of today. This will also help in understanding how the society is moving towards, to become what kind of society in the future. The definition of civilization is more problematic but the most common is that a civilization is a large society, whether geographical or in terms of its population, that has a continuously growing and progressing culture2. The hallmarks of growth indicates the success and failure of a civilization. Growth does not necessarily mean geographical growth but it includes the growth of the spirits, mechanisms, ideas and social institutions that makes up a civilization3. This indicates that the growth of civilizations is associated with cultural evolution. The study of evolution of societies describes that there are certain phases that a civilization goes through. The cycle of events indicates that there is a growth phase and a disintegration phase. This depends on how the societies are able to adapt with the changing natural and social environment. As mankind goes through different challenges, they find ways on how to overcome these challenges, and with it creates new challenges and opportunities for change. It is evident that as the civilizations goes through one phase to another, they learn and adapt different techniques and strategies to improve their state, whether its social, political or economical.Projections of the

This is the simple fact that allows music to define more than a single type of sound, but rather influence entire generations and lifestyles. I had the privilege of attending two concerts, one a symphony music concert at the American university in Washington DC, which was a classical music concert. The other being a concert of eccentric performances in a place by the name of Jamming & Apos,: Java in Vienna. Both of the genres of music were new to me but I had an open mind to the experiences. To deeply understand and enjoy music, we must learn to appreciate other genres as well, since music is intertwined. For this music report, I would like to particularly focus on the musical pieces that intrigued me, and the overall experience (Medearis 134).The classical concert involved a sophisticated performance from a number of instruments, which represented different types of music. The atmosphere of the concert was very intense, probably since the concert was housed in a performance hall that could be approximately to the size of a living room, with the capacity to house a maximum seating of approximately 80 people. The chamber performances had two separate parts, having an intermission of approximately 15 minutes apart. There was a group of artists who sat in a uniform manner by the size of the instruments. This group was known as the Washington Symphony. In addition to this, there was an orchestra that was mainly formed by a group of older individuals, wearing black outfits. Ah-Q was away from his hometown for a while and the dwellers were wondering where he had been. According to this story, he was studying and working somewhere else, away from his own hometown during this time. Ah-Q’s return was quite a story to be told. This shows that education was not widespread in China as was seen in the other previous story. It can be seen from these two stories that the Chinese situation is a quite a slower scenario of literacy in comparison to that of Japan. Ah-Q was working for a provincial leader while not in college. He was in fact a servant in the house belonging to a renowned Provincial candidate.

Under this pretext, the US invaded Afghanistan in October 2001 and invaded Iraq in 2003 to further its geopolitical interests. The War on Terror is an implementation of Manichaeism, as it allowed the USA to make a new enemy after the collapse of the USSR. It is serving its imperialistic ambitions by painting the Muslim World as a new axis of evil and a threat to modern Western civilization. However, this enemy is more abstract than real and the situation is only leading to widespread irrational fear and unnecessary destruction. This war would therefore be more aptly described as a ‘War by Terror’ because the US is the real terrorist on its last vestiges of being a superpower. This paper shows how true this is and the extent to which this fake war is undermining the human rights agenda in world politics. It also examines how the US has managed to perpetrate these crimes and its aggression despite the existence of international laws to prevent abuse and what can be done to control the real evil which now poses a threat to the entire world. The several challenges faced over the years have also helped to propel the company into new heights. These include fierce competition from other consulting firms, the credit crunch which saw the company barely survive and the restructuring we had to do to increase efficiency and serve our clients better. The International Market After long consultations with the directors and other stakeholders, it was agreed that the company should move to another level and expand into the international market. This will be a great privilege to the company. After the marketing team completed its analysis on the first location outside the UK that the company should base its services on, we decided to take the business to Paris, France due to a number of reasons that will be outlined later. With the expansion to Paris, the company will also introduce a new product in the market. This is an area that the company has researched on and found high demand for, especially in Paris. The new product involves training programmes for International marketing. The most obvious reason as to the choice of this product is due to the fact that Paris, being a renowned historical city in the world, attracts several local and international tourists every year. The training programmes in International marketing will thus be very useful to the market.

The three steps of planning involves setting out the goals which the organization plans to achieve , creating a plan for achieving these goals .Once the plan has been made the last function of planning is to decide how the limited resources need to be allocated in order to achieve the plan. (Richard L. Daft, 2010) The DoD is very complex in the terms of organizational structure. The planning for DoD is done at the top level of the country. The President along with the secretary of defense and the national security council determines the security needs of the country or in other word we can say that they set the goals which are to be achieved by DoD. Once the goals have to be set the plan for the execution of these goals is made by the commander in chief in consultation with senior military and intelligence officials. The allocation of resources in DoD is done by the U.S congress which controls the budget for the various plans. Various committees of both the houses examine the goals which have to be achieved and allocate the resources accordingly. Organizing Organizing means creating working relationships between the members of the organization to facilitate better working conditions which leads to achievement of goals. An organization structure is the outcome of this organizing activity. According to narratives by Fredrick Douglass ,who apparently was born in slavery but managed to educate himself and later escaped establishing himself as one of America’s greatest leaders, slavery continued to thrive in spite of slave owners claiming theirs was a nominally Christians democracy. Douglass wrote three main autographical narratives that have been identified not only as classics of American history but also as American literature. Douglass, normally, wrote with unmatched fierce intelligence and eloquence that made him a giftedly successful spokesman not only for the abolition of slavery but also in regard to equal rights. He thus shapes an extremely inspiring image of self-realization in the wake of colossal odds. In one of his narratives known as ‘Narrative of the Life of Fredrick Douglass, an American Slave’ that was published in 1845, 7 years after he escaped from slavery, Douglass writes in response to cynics who could not believe that such an articulate orator was once a slave(Kornblith,2010). This is a powerfully compressed description of the oppression and cruelty that took place in Maryland plantation, where Douglass was born and brought up. This account catapulted him to the front position of anti-slavery crusade, drawing in thousands, white and black alike, to this cause (Douglass,2014).In another of his account, My Bondage and My Freedom which was published, in 1855, after Douglass had become a well-known newspaper editor, he further expands the narration of his slavery years. Douglass with astounding psychological penetration explores the agonizing ambiguities together with delicately corrosive consequences of black-white relationships under slavery and afterwards recounts his resolute resistance to the Northern segregation. In addition, the book includes extracts from some of the

Research Paper - Pediatric Care Plan | Subjects: Nursing - Undergraduate This essay stresses that a child is said to have LD if he or she does not meet the required standards a child of that appropriate age should meet. For example, if a first grader has severe problems in rhyming, has difficulty finding words while conversing with others and isn’t able to indentify alphabets easily, the child is said to have some form of “Learning Disorder”.This paper makes a conclusion that a child with LD does not necessarily show academic non-performance alone. They might have behavioural problems and low self esteem issues. Some children will excel in learning one particular subject like maths or English, while they lack back on all other subject. Some children with LD will excel in academic performance, but they will have issues mixing with other students, working in groups, communicating with others and suffer with low self-esteem issues. Others will have no such issues, but behave in a totally reckless manner, demanding whatever they like, be done immediately. Some children simply have less IQ than others. They have very little concentration power which may or may not improve with age. Scientifically there are various reasons for this condition to occur. Memory capacity, hearing impairments, vision impairments, and physical disorders, mental issues everything affects a child’s learning capacity. Some brains are programmed to work better than others naturally, while others take time to do even normal activities.

This theory is based on the precept that mutual dependence is a vital fact in the development of a person’s character. It points to the fact that no single citizen of any community can function as a contributing member of society through his or her own effort but requires the support of established systems in the society as well as the encouragement of family and friends. This theory, which is rooted in the association between a person and his or her environment, seeks to affirm that all communities are formed through the interdependence that exists between citizens and the local government and other establishments that work to better the community. When these diverse associations are working well, then the levels of crime within any given community will be negligible. When different institutions in society such as the law enforcement authorities, the churches, schools, businesses and other associations are working together, they are able to collectively prevent the rise of crime in their society. The social disorganisation theory was first developed in Chicago, where the communities were divided into five zones that were then studied separately. The crime-riddled regions were identified through the “concentric zone model” (Miller, Shreck and Tewksbury, 2006).

This paper will examine Judaism and argue that it may be largely defined as a communal behaviour that is rooted in knowledge of the reality. To begin with, one should note that just like Islam Judaism also has a legal dimension to it. In other worlds, there is a legal system that is based on the sacred text of Judaism, namely Torah (Solomon 1996, 56). Indeed, this means that the latter should not be considered to be merely a spiritual text, but a set of rules and regulations that might be used to resolve different issues. What is more important is that the very name might be interpreted as teaching which implies the practical application of knowledge that is stored in it. That is why it is not surprising that the Jews also applied the text that contained the religious dogma to daily affairs. One should also note that this application is recognized on the state level. For example, according to the tradition of Judaism, on the seventh day of the week, which is Saturday, the Jews should not do any work, but only rest. While this might seem as a peculiar religious tradition- nevertheless, on every Saturday trains do not run in Israel, planes do not fly and the majority of the stores are closed. All this shows how religious principles are able to modify communal behaviour. Moreover, while some rules might have some theological support, they still impose severe restriction that other people, regardless of their involvement into the spiritual practice have to face. The next point that should be noted while considering the nature of Judaism and its communal dimension is the way the above mentioned sacred text is regarded. Thus, there is no doubt in the fact that Torah is the corner stone of this religious tradition (Harvey 2005, p. 74). However, it must be noted that Judaism recognizes two kinds of Torah – Written one and Oral one. During the period that they get the losses they usually aim at gaining the trust of their customers. The other strategy that they have commonly used is the buying out of leases of their competitors. Through such marketing they aim at making themselves stronger in the market while at the same time reducing the influence of these competitors to the market. If such a marketing strategy is successful it can be used as a tool for elimination of competition by the business organization. The use of such a marketing activity has contributed to the high number of criticisms of the methods that Starbuck uses to gain the market capital that they have. Critics claim that they use such activities to make sure that they make it hard for the small businesses in this industry to survive and grow.Starbuck also used to put several outlets within a particular geographical location. This can only be effective in a situation where they have noticed that there is a large market and demand for the products that they sell. It is also best in a situation where they are the most popular producers of such goods within this geographical location. When they put up many outlets they are able to give new entrants a hard time in trying to get a market for their products. Born in 1916, Jackson grew up in Rochester New York and went to Brighton High School. Eventually, she would graduate from Syracuse University with her bachelor’s degree (GradeSaver) and marry Stanley Edgar Hyman, also a writer. Although Jackson lived a very successful life as an author, she is most known for “The Lottery.” With this title and several of her novels, she gained a reputation as a “gothic horror and psychological suspense” author (Randall and Simon 1). Americans were moving back to a time where they wanted life to be simple and orderly. There was also a need to go back to traditional values and a need for conformity (Miss Cellania). While people enjoyed seeing the Cleveland Indians win the World Series, The Philadelphia Eagles win the NFL and while they were being entertained by beautiful women like Lauren Bacall, Ava Gardner and Rita Hayworth (PCM Entertainment and Trivia Network) Jackson was entertaining a different audience through her short story. It was interesting that many people were upset with Jackson about this story. One reason was because her
